Culinary Workforce Training
We’re getting everything ready for the upcoming Culinary Workforce Training program.
About the Workforce Development Program
The pilot 8-week training program, which will be available in Spanish, is intended to develop strong culinary professionals and improve economic stability.
Students will learn to properly handle and prepare food, master basic cooking techniques, and create diverse dishes from scratch. The course will cover food safety, nutrition, menu planning, and kitchen organization.
In the coming weeks, we are going to make available resources to connect with individuals interested in being part of the inaugural group of students.
Class will be held at the Dallas College Culinary, Pastry, and Hospitality Center at 11830 Webb Chapel Road #1200, Dallas, TX 75234.
The introduction to the culinary arts program will start in Summer 2025. Sign up to get updates.
In the meantime, you can support the workforce development effort by purchasing your next meal from the Dales Tamales by the Latino Culinary Institute and Association.
